About Us
Lubbaloo means "I Love You".
When our oldest daughter was just a little baby, she lived in an orphanage in Russia. There was not a lot of money for food or toys, but there was always lots of love. As she grew up and flourished, we tried to teach her how to say "I love you" in Russian. But she insisted on saying it her own way - "Lubbaloo". She even made up a song about it, often singing "I'm a Little Lubbaloo". She was the original model for our clothing, and the inspiration for the line. Her unique spirit is amazing, magical and beautiful. And of course we wanted her clothing to match.
Lubbaloo clothes are made to be worn - at play, at celebrations, and even at school. They are made to make you smile and made to be shared with your little sister or brother. Each piece is touched by many human hands, as it is sewn, trimmed, painted or stamped. And as such, each is a unique work of art.
